Anyone can make a PowerPoint, so why don't we make things a bit more challenging for ourselves?
Let's just write a song. What initially sounds quite simple turned out to be a major challenge.
Besides the enormous amount of time spent writing the song,
a total of 5 people contributed to this project.
Since recording and mixing at home with just an iPad wasn't really feasible,
we had to move the operation to the YMCA. Although with limited resources and varying degrees of motivation
towards the end,we managed to record the song in just about 7 and a half hours.
Nevertheless, we believe that the result, while not perfect and sometimes a bit off,
is still presentable and a good reward for a lot of work and time. Finally,
a big thank you to Jakob and Marc Dobat for their trust and the opportunity to use the YMCA(CVJM),
to Joanna Amelia Rzepecka for her help with recording the vocals,
and to Lennard Möller for his significant assistance in recording the song in general and his equipment.
